This year we're playing at an old family favorite, Ken McDonald Municipal Golf Course in Tempe. This course is near and dear to Uncle Jack, my dad, me, Zach, and Steve T. The picture at left is the very difficult lake on the right side of #18. This lake has certainly swallowed its share of Paul balls over the years (right Zach?).
The condo where we'll have the post-tournament party and awards is only a few miles away, south of Elliot and on the east side of the 101 freeway. Here's a map. You access the course from Rural Road south of Guadalupe and north of Elliot.
Our first tee time is at noon, so please plan to arrive no later than 11:30am. The teams will be announced then.
Since we're playing after noon, the rate is a little cheaper at $25, plus $13 for a cart.
One week to go -- can't wait!
We also decided on the three teams of three scramble format.
